Day 2: Breathtaking Pearl of the Adriatic - DUBROVNIK
Dubrovnik is a breathtaking sight, entirely surrounded by massive gray walls of stone, interspersed with four gates, three forts, five bastions and 14 square towers. The “ Pearl of the Adriatic ” contains a treasure-trove of medieval art and architecture that has earned it a designation as a UN World Heritage Site.
The Dominican and Franciscan Monasteries are beautiful examples of Romanesque–Gothic architecture, and other monuments of significance include the Onofrio's Fountain , the Rector's Palace , the Sponza Palace and several fine churches. A stroll along Stradun —the Old Town's wide pedestrian promenade—allows you to discover Dubrovnik's many fine shops, cafés and boutiques at leisure.
Don't miss a chance to take the walk at the top of the wall surrounding the city for beautiful panoramic views of this fascinating city on the Adriatic .
After breakfast we will join in on a City Tour of Dubrovnik. We will drive by coach to a new, panoramic road view point with a wonderful view of Dubrovnik and its entire Riviera . Our coach will further take us to Pile Gate where we will start our walking tour along the most famous Dubrovnik Street – Stradun. We will leave today lunch at your choice in the Old Town of Dubrovnik.

Day 3: Mljet Island National Park / Korcula Island
The sparsely inhabited Island of Mljet , one of seven Croatian National Parks offers lovely pine forests and jewel-like lakes, with the opportunity for a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters.
Korcula Island , a birth place of Marco Polo contains a wealth of artistic masterworks including paintings by Tintoretto. Another highlight is the Treasury, located in the 14th-century Abbey Palace , with its eclectic collection of paintings, jewelry, fine furniture and historic documents. Charming views of the harbor greet visitors as they wind their way through the narrow alleyways.
On one of these lanes, you'll see the Marco Polo house, where the famous explorer is said to have been born in 1254. Shop for handmade Croatian folk art near the City Gate, or relax at one of the picturesque waterfront cafés, and enjoy the breezy resort atmosphere that prevails in this medieval town.

Day 4: Hvar Island / Split – I know paradise now !
“I know paradise now, I know Hvar,” goes a local saying. A walk along the waterfront promenade and through the Old Town of Hvar reveals a wealth of historic medieval and Renaissance buildings as well as lovely yachts and other private craft.
Fine art, including paintings by Old Masters and ecclesiastic treasures of precious materials, can be found in the collections of the Franciscan Monastery and the treasury of Hvar Cathedral. We will now continue our cruise to Split .
Split is the second largest city in Croatia and a UN World Heritage Site. At the historical core of Split —and within a walking distances of our ship you will discover with our guide the massive Palace of the Emperor Diocletian , dating from the end of the third century A.D.; one of the last palaces built in the Roman Empire .

Day 5: – Kornati Islands National Park / Zadar – Wonders of Northern Dalmatia
We will now set sail to the Kornati Islands National Park .
Enjoy the magnificent view of 140 islands and islets of exceptional beauty and their small fishing villages and picturesque shores.
Once a Roman colony and rival of Venice in medieval times, Zadar is today a “city of Treasury ”, which has partly preserved its Roman Forum, the Romanesque Church of St. Donatus from the 9th century and other monuments such as Benedictine Convent and a permanent exhibition of sacral arts called “ Gold and Silver of Zadar “.
Stroll the famous Kalelarga street and enjoy its Mediterranean charm.

Day 6: Apsyrtides Islands - Mali Losinj and Cres
We will today arrive in the Kvarner Gulf and to anchor at Mali Losinj Island . By the 19th century Mali Losinj developed into the second most important port in the Adriatic and its inhabitants were widely known as the best seamen in the Mediterranean who gradually enriched the Mali Losinj port with their beautiful villas. Due to its mild climate this part of the Croatian coast has always been well known as a favorite health resort.
Our friend Sandra will introduce you to her herbal garden where she patiently and with plenty of love gathered all the known Mediterranean herbs. Enjoy the charming scents of Sandra's garden and taste her magical elixirs. We will continue our drive to the town of Cres .
Through one of three 16th century Venetian town gates we walk to the charming main square adorned with Clock Tower, Town hall, Venetian loggia and a number of Gothic and early Renneisance churches and palaces . Lunch will be served in a local island village with a magnificent view.
Our next stop will be Osor , an ancient coastal settlement situated on a little isthmus close to Kanavela canal through which until the 15th century the whole maritime traffic carried on from Northern Adriatic ports to Dalmatia and Levant . Enjoy an evening at leisure in the beautiful port of Mali Losinj .

Day 7: Medieval Istria – Romantic, Mystical and Simply Beautiful
After breakfast we will depart Pula port and enjoying a pleasant scenic drive we will arrive in Porec .
Porec has preserved its Roman urban pattern of two main streets. We will visit remnants of the Neptun's and Jupiter's Temple . Decumanus street will further take us through the Old Town of Porec to visit the most famous Porec monument – the architectural complex of Euphrasius Basilica which is a UNESCO protected monument. While visiting Basilica and viewing its 6th century wall mosaics, right in front of your eyes you will be able to witness decline of the late classical arts and blossoming of the new early medieval arts under the influence of the greatest artistic center at that time – Ravenna .
We will continue our drive to the Central Istria embellished by romantic medieval hilltop towns.
Our next stop will be in Motovun , a town which has preserved its unique medieval ambience. Your lunch will be served at a traditional family homestead. Enjoy a folkloric dance performance ; a presentation of traditional national costumes and musical instruments.
Upon our return we will join in on a City Tour of Pula , one of the most ancient towns on the Adriatic coast which reached its highest point in architecture at the time of the Roman emperor Augustus.
Here in Pula, Roman public architecture is well preserved; Roman Amphitheatre which is one of the best preserved amphitheatres in the world, Triumphal Arch of Sergian's , Augustus Temple , Twin Gates , Hercules Gates – the most ancient city gate in the Northern Adriatic, Roman Forum which, unlike the main roman square in Rome itself, continued to exist through the Medieval and Renaissance period up until the present day.
