own importance for a specific period of
history. In the 1997, Trogir's old city
centre was put into the UNESCO's list of
the world's monumental heritage.
From
rich cultural offer, we single out:
Greek relief of Kairos (the god of a happy moment) - dating from the 3rd century B.C.
(this is one of two exemplars in the world).
It is kept in a Benedictine monastery with the
church oh St. Nicholas which is open for visitors every day from 8:00 till 13:00 and from
15:00 till 19:00 .
Radovan's portal - the most valuable monument of Dalmatian stone-worker's trade which
was chiselled out for a cathedral of St. Lawrence by the master stone-mason Radovan.
The cathedral of St. Lawrence - it is open from 09:00 till 12:00 and from 16:00 till 19:00
Duke's court - built in the 12th century
The city box - it was used as a court, shelter and meeting place. From its stairs, the most
important news were being announced on the Croatian language to the citizens. It was
built in the time of the renaissance.
The Cipiko palace - its oldest walls date from the Middle Ages and the greatest share of the complex date from the 13th century. The Kamerlengo tower - a fortress built in the 13th-15th century during the Venetian rule. |

Leaving for Islets of Trogir, swimming.
After lunch leaving for Milna, Island of Brač, night in Milna.
Milna- the place on the western coast of the island, located in the cove of the samename. Owing to many hills surrounding Milna, its harbour is protected
from all winds except from pleaeant summer mistrels, so
this the best natural
harbour on the island. Beautiful coves with sand and
gravel beaches stretch along the coast. Stone built houses, neat little alleys, peace and quiet are the initial evidence of the
cultural splendour of former times.
In fact, the town`s origins go back to the 17th. The baroque church, built in the 18th century, in which art and valuables are loving kept, is the most
distinguished arcitectual, historical and cultural
monument of the place.
In Milna you can alternate romantic walks along
the beach with fun, and explore the village, too. The
winding alleys are made even prettier by the magnificent facades. An attractive stairway leads
up to the parish church, and one can admire the Rendic
statues, valuable paintings and the moving votive objects placed there by seafaring men of
Milna.

monuments, Bol also features a number of natural beauties. East and west of Bol are
numerous shores, beautiful beaches; the most famous - and probably the most beautiful
on the Adriatic - is Zlatni Rat.
This pebble cape is a unique phenomenon - it stretches
into the open sea in the shape of a tongue, with its tip changing the form and moving to
one and another side, according to the direction of winds and waves. A story has it that
this is the only beach in the world that runs vertical to the coast.
